The key benefit of using a QuickStatus button is that they can set on the move or at the last minute from your mobile phone or PC. QuickStatus buttons provide the most flexible way of setting an activity on an ad hoc basis and will always override both Routine and Temporary Schedules.
QuickStatus buttons can be used to set a floating status such as Do not disturb or I'm at lunch.
When you travel abroad to another time zone, you can set a QuickStatus button called I'm in-flight and unset it when you arrive. If you have set your arrival time in the Temporary Schedule, your Default Temporary Schedule will then take over.
